Building and solving financial puzzles is Kelly Miller's passion. She began The Oak Tree Group in September of 1990, and continues to devote her life to helping her clients realize their financial dreams and desires. Kelly has a special talent for instinctively understanding her clients' needs; pairing that understanding with a drive to offer the best strategies is where she shines as a financial advisor.
Among Kelly's specialties are working with entrepreneurs; helping to negotiate retirement packages; women's financial issues; retirement planning; asset management; rollovers and IRAs; wealth accumulation; and legacy planning.
Kelly's professional and civic activities have provided her numerous travel opportunities. She is frequently asked to lecture on financial issues at local and national events. She represented the YWCA of the USA at the International Women's Summit, and at their World Council in Seoul, Korea in 1995; more recently; she served on the Advisory Council for National Financial Services, a leading firm in the securities industry, from 2010-2014. Since 2004, she has served as a participant in the Retirement Income Summit held in Washington DC. An avid student of her vocation, Kelly attends several industry conferences each year to stay abreast of market trends, ideas, and opportunities.
Her professional and civic involvement has included, but is not limited to, the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia; past President and Treasurer of the YWCA of Cobb County; the Wellstar Hospital Foundation; and Leadership Cobb Alumni. She earned her Master of Science in Finance from Georgia State University in 1983.
Anyone who knows Kelly knows that she has a large family, and loves to spend time with them. She also enjoys traveling, knitting, and working on her golf game.
