Ellen Rapier joined the Oak Tree Group team in 2004, and became licensed in 2006. Ellen is passionate about helping fellow Gen Xers, Millennials, and Gen Z investors reach their financial goals and accumulate wealth. Because of her enthusiasm for financial literacy, Ellen has had the opportunity to offer financial literacy seminars for high school and college students, as well as ongoing money groups to support young people in their financial journeys.
Ellen's areas of expertise include socially responsible or values-based investing; pre-retirement and retirement planning; college funding; budgeting and cash flow analysis; and debt reduction strategies. She has served as Treasurer on the board of a local nonprofit since 2012, putting her financial skills to work in service of the organization’s mission.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Agnes Scott College in 2003, and lives in Roswell with her husband and two children. Ellen is also a musician and songwriter, and you can catch her playing fiddle and guitar around Atlanta with her band, Lonesome Redwing.
